They would be 5 and 2. We have the space to have their own rooms but it would be more for the company since our master is down and other bedrooms are up. If the older one was a sound sleeper who didn't wake up easily, and the younger one was consistently sleeping through the night... well, whenever that happened I'd have them share. My parents' solution was to move the baby in to share with the older sibling when the next baby came along! They would have shared sooner but it was easier to keep DS in the PNP in our room for his very frequent night nursing and 3-5AM witching hour when he was a newborn. DD is a very sound sleeper so she usually sleeps through his night wakings. She'll be less than a year old. We plan on keeping them in separate rooms though. BIL and SIL put their girls together when the youngest was 1! Crazy, but it worked..? They are both active sleepers and both often wake up crying, and I'm just too protective of their sleep that I don't know if I could ever let them share a room until LMW is much older!
