<description>&#60;p&#62;In general I would like to set aside a little more time to focus on myself/self care, rather than always feeling like when I've got a moments break from LO I've got to hustle to finish the next chore or next task for work...&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;1. Get my one year old to (finally) sleep through the night.&#60;br /&#62;
2. Exercise more in the mornings before work (if the first happens, this will be more feasible).&#60;br /&#62;
3. Take five minutes to reflect and be mindful every day - so easy to get caught up in the zillions of little things that have to be done everyday to manage the household and for work, and then to wonder where all the time went and what I've been doing&#60;br /&#62;
4. Spend a few minutes 3-4 days per week working on my photography. Either taking pictures or getting on top of curating all the ones we already have.

<description>&#60;p&#62;All generally health related goals. I feel like it looks like a lot but it’s really lots of little things so I feel like they’re attainable. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;- Swap mindless scrolling for stretch breaks when I’m stuck on something at work&#60;br /&#62;
- Strength train at least once per week. I bought some free weights and basically never use them. I have osteopenia so really need to make this a priority.&#60;br /&#62;
- I have 5k and half marathon race goals.&#60;br /&#62;
- Make an appointment with a therapist. I’ve been meaning to do this for literally years. Pretty sure I have PMDD and I want to explore trying medication.&#60;br /&#62;
- Work on my mummy tummy. I think it’s a combo of poor posture and too many sweets. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;My 2.5 year old has beat me to hers (which I decided on) and thrown her pacifiers in the trash. Hoping it doesn’t backfire!

<description>&#60;p&#62;- get back to exercising. For all of 2017 and the first half of 2018 I was working out five times a week. 2018 kind of blew up for us and I just sort of stopped. I miss it and need to make it a priority.&#60;br /&#62;
- purge more of our belongings, shop less, and focus on buying quality when we do shop. I'm sick of stuff. I'm tired of buying storage systems and containers when the real problem is that we have too much. DH is somewhat on board so I am excited to see what progress we can make.&#60;br /&#62;
- find my go to recipes. You know if someone asks you to bring an appetizer or dessert to a party? I want to have a go to. Or a few good meals to make of we invite people over. And maybe figure out holiday meal traditions as well now that we have an idea how we will celebrate living near family.&#60;br /&#62;
-learn more about home maintenance and tasks. We werr very happy renters for a long time, so owning is a weird, crazy adventure. I feel like we were really unprepared for everything.

&#60;p&#62;For context I just had a baby 3 weeks ago.. in 2019 I am deciding to:&#60;br /&#62;
1) Leave work at work.&#60;br /&#62;
2) Prioritize immediate family first. We need time to settle in and get used to our new normal AND cherish this short newborn time.&#60;br /&#62;
3) Commit to my health routines (start small and succeed). Remember that every good choice counts and that I *get* to exercise vs. punish myself with it for poor choices.&#60;br /&#62;
4) Love my husband and show my appreciation for him. Tell him thank you every day.&#60;br /&#62;
5) Say yes to my daughters when they ask for my time and attention. The one who asks to play when my hands are full and the one who just squeaks and cries for now but not for long.

We are starting to get a little more routine going and are done having kids so I need to prioritize myself again to get more energy and feel stronger.
