Possibly move to a better school district depending on where I get a job and what my salary is like. L will start kindergarten and D will start pre-school. A third child is a possibility, but DH doesn't want to discuss it until #2 is born and we have some time to adjust.</p> <p>10 Years: Bigger/forever home if we haven't already upgraded under the 5 year plan. For the next few years after that I just want things to settle down. The past 3, 5, even 10 years have been so crazy for me that I'm really looking for some stability at this point.</p> <p>As for my career, I'm a contractor and have been moving around a lot for the past 3 years so I would really like to find something permanent (I think! It's a tough decision) so that I feel more settled in my career. I have some educational goals that I would like to complete, and I also have an idea to start my own side business. </p> <p>My husband and I have a few things we would like to do, including some trips and goals of things we would like to start doing together. We're both making a conscious effort right now to try new things together and find joint interests and hobbies.</p> <p>10 years, who knows! We would most likely be starting to think about our retirement plans pretty close to then... he will be closer to 50 and me 40. We would like to leave the city we are currently in.</p> <p>I'm not sure if a child is in our future (we would only have one if we did), but I feel ok with that right now. We'll have one more child, probably. We'll probably own a small apartment in Kosovo. I'll be wrapping up my bachelors in International Studies. We'll have done some more traveling in Europe and the Middle East, maybe North Africa. I'll be 29. </p> <p>In 10 years we'll be in a different posting, probably in the Middle East, maybe somewhere else in the Balkans like Bosnia. We'll possibly have adopted a child (I hope). I'll be done with my Masters in Global Maternal and Child Health. We'll be renting out our apartment in Kosovo (I doubt we'll want to sell it), renting in the new posting.
