I always wear heels at work. </p> <p>On Fridays, I sometimes wear jeans, but more often do a more casual look like skinny pants with riding boots and a tunic sweater. Sometimes jeans with a blazer. Or slacks with a blouse.</p> <p>On other days that I will interact with students or professors, I dress more casually but still nice-- skinny jeans with a nice top (nice sweater, long sleeve shirt, button down, or blouse), and either boots or flats. I wear a lot of pencil skirts-all different kinds of fabric-with a printed blouse &amp; cardigan, dresses and skinny jeans on Fridays. Slacks with t-shirts and cardigans or slacks with a blouse. I have a cotton dress on today with nice sandals. We can do jeans on Friday, but i tend to wear a lot of skinny black pants (they're actually a lightweight denim but they don't look it, and I'd wear dress skinny black pants if i needed to). Other casual yet business appropriate pants I wear are khakis (kind of old man-ish, but that's the world i live in) and cotton twill type pants from Loft. They're actually my favorite but they don't sell them anymore. Oh and cords. For dresees I choose fun prints/ patterns and most are not suiting material which can feel stiff. Depending on my day I will pair a dress with a blazer or cardigan. Some of my dresses have some kind of sleeve and for those I just wear the dress.</p> <p>For today I'm wearing a printed blouse with a "sweater vest" and slacks. It's hard to describe the vest, but I could wear this V neck, no button top alone if I was wearing a business suit.
