<description>&#60;p&#62;@Pancakes:  I'm so over it! I would have been irate having spent the $$ on two beds plus the furniture for that to happen.  DD needs to get out of her crib so bad (she's almost 3) and I'm tempted to roll out the mattress (which has been sitting in the box for over a month) and just set her up on that until the frame gets here.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;DH and I had a big plan how we were going to give her a new &#34;big girl&#34; room for Christmas, now I'm just like who cares I just want the flipping bed to get here!

<description>&#60;p&#62;@matador84:  Sorry :( I ordered 2 LON Jenny Lind beds this spring and they were backordered for THREE months. The delivery date kept getting pushed back. It was really frustrating. DD slept on a mattress in her room for awhile. Also, we ordered a nightstand and a bookcase at the same time, which were in stock, but they wouldn't deliver them until everything was ready. So we also had piles of books everywhere for a long time. The delivery service was good; they assembled the beds and nightstand (the bookcase required us to assemble, oddly) and I'm happy with the quality but it was very frustrating at the time. The only silver lining for me was that they dropped the price of the beds after we ordered but since they hadn't shipped, their customer service adjusted the price. I've had similar experiences with delays from Crate and Barrel, their parent company.

<description>&#60;p&#62;@PinkElephant:  UGH! I completely couldn't decide between the Target and LON bed.  Without seeing it in person, I just wasn't sure if the quality would be the same.  I might add, LON did ask me if they wanted to refund my order, but at the point I was on the phone with them, I just wanted them to make it right, not refund and cancel my order!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm on the Target website and thinking about cancelling the LON order and ordering Target instead.  It would probably be delivered before the LON--scheduled 1/3-1/9 and the delivery is FREE.

<description>&#60;p&#62;@matador84:  that's so frustrating. I've had a similar experience with rugs recently, from several companies. They would show as in stock, when I called to follow up a sales rep would assure me my rug was in the warehouse preparing to ship, then lo and behold, a few days later i would get notice the rug was backordered 60-90 days or that my order was cancelled. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I almost pulled the trigger on one of the Land of Nod Jenny Lind beds, but ended up ordering a Target version instread because I was put off by the high LoN shipping fees. I wish they just lumped it into the cost of the item so I could ignore it :) The target bed'S spindles are slightly less elaborate, but it is solid, pretty, and was delivered in under a week for about a$20 delivery  fee.

<description>&#60;p&#62;So, I bought DD a Jenny Lind Full sized bed on 11/23.  At the time, it was not backordered and estimated shipping was early to mid December. DH and I planned on giving it to her on Christmas.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We live too far away from a LON store so we had to pay for the long distance delivery.  One week before Christmas I still hadn't gotten a shipping notification so I called to see what was up. They told me that they were still waiting on parts from the manufacturer to their warehouse and it wouldn't even ship to the warehouse until early January. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Needless to say I was less than thrilled.  When I asked about the time I would actually receive it, they said mid-to-late January! I'm so irritated because I've never had anything I've ordered that was in stock at the time to take nearly 1-2 months to receive.  So irritated and I probably won't order anything from them again for a long time...I went with them originally because I feel like I've always gotten good customer service!
