Never did the whole princess or pink thing, so her daughter never even really saw it. But one day when she was 2 they were walking through target and the moment she saw a tutu she squealed with delight. Her room was full of it and I think it was too much for her. But I'm sure you don't want to try that approach. Even if your house doesn't have pink, she'll see her friends in pink. I have a friend who wanted her LO to wear all gender neutral clothes, she was very specific at her shower that there could be no girly colors for the gifts. And then I saw her when her LO was 3- pink from head to toe!
