I use the recipe from Annie's Eats for the filling and ganache and just use boxed Devil's Food cake mix for the cupcakes. Using bittersweet chocolate for the tops is so important! And to fill the centers, I don't cut out little wedges, I just let the cupcakes cool, then stick the piping spout right in the center of the cupcake and fill them that way.
