I don't remember what movie we were watching but I'll never forget the big we got together. Our friends went to bed and left us on the couch watching a movie. We did the whole, creep closer to one another until our bodies were touching and we were holding hands. Commence making out and forgetting about the movie. :-)

This when we were already married and I was in my "Anne of Green Gables" trance (I LOVE the book/story and movie and watch it a couple of times a year with a huge bowl of popcorn). I was just in my pjs under a blanket watching away and the hubs just came and sat with me. He started watching and after a while sort of said to himself, "They lived a much simpler life back then, didn't they? I wish I could live like that..." And I thought it was just so sweet!

It's gonna be cheesy, but oh well. :) FI had never seen The Notebook, so I insisted that we watch it. This was close to when it came out and I had it on DVD. We were in my dorm room in college and we both were crying like babies. It was the first time I'd seen him cry ever.

We watched radio as our second date (2003) and I remember when it was a sad scene. I was crying obviously and I looked over and the hubs was like "I have something in my eye" haha. He was crying. We still laugh bout it

@mrbee: 2004 - you younguns. I feel so old, my movie memory with the hubs is from 1997 - Titanic!! You know how everyone thought that was so romantic and we thought so, too. And now I'm pretty sure I would think it was so cheesy if I watched but it is a very nice memory.

Hmm probably Knocked Up, lol. It was our second date and he took me to meet some of his friends afterwards, and I remember thinking, "He must like me if he's introducing me to everyone already!:". Although I gotta say, watching that crowning scene with a guy you just started dating was AWKWARD.

The first movie we saw together was Juno. It was our 3rd date. We were laughing more than anyone else in the theater and we discovered that we have the same goofy sense of humor. We ended up at Steak & Shake after the movie and stayed there and talked until 2am while it was snowing outside. When he dropped me off at home, we had our first kiss. Best date ever!

I don't remember the first movie we watched together, but the first time we watched Star Wars together was pretty awesome. His reaction to me was hilarious. I love Star Wars and didn't realize how much until then because I was quoting it.

DH and I watched "The Notebook" together on my tiny little TV in my college apartment, sitting in my bed, and that was the first time I saw DH cry. When I asked why he was crying he just said it made him think of how much he loved me. This was pretty early on in our relationship so of course I melted all over the place.

Our first official date after years of "not dating", we ended up at his apartment. We cuddled on his bed and watched a DVD, one of his favourite movies-Men with brooms. At the end was our first kiss in ten years.

can't remember anything in particular, but i remember we were watching wedding crashers and that one scene where vince vaughn was making the balloon animals and that annoying kid wanted a bike - the next shot shown was him making this huge bike. o. m. g. we both burst out laughing SO hard.

I dont even remember what movie was playing. When DH and I were first dating. He had a truck then and we put the futon mattress form his living room in the back of the truck with a bunch of blankets (this is not going where you think HAHA) and we went to the drive in theatre. We laid in the back and talked the whole movie about everything it seemed. No huge make out session or anything....just talked and really felt the conection we had.

I think my favorite movie memory was when we went to see "Pearl Harbor"-- omg, horrible HORRIBLE movie, but we went after my senior prom and got in for free since we were still dressed up. We just lounged in the IMAX theatre, stealing kisses, and eating popcorn.

Our first movie together was "Dancer in the Dark." We were really young but I ended up sobbing like a baby in the end. My favorite movie memory was watching "Amelie" in the theater with Mr. Marbles. We both loved the whimsy of it and I also fell in love with Paris again, particularly Montmartre. I've been to Paris several times because I have family there, but Mr. M has never been, so we know it'll be special when we visit together the first time!

The first movie DH and I saw together was "August Rush" on dvd. It was a very special experience because even though we were not dating yet, we each felt like the characters (Kerri Russell and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) reflected us and our budding relationship. They came from very different places, just like DH and me. It's a very special movie for us. :)

DH and I started dating our senior year of high school and one of our first "dates" was going to his house and watching a movie (oh, those high school dates...). The movie was Wedding Crashers, he had just gone out and bought it. Well, we missed the end of the movie because we were too busy with our first ever makeout session, haha!! The fact that we held out until the end of the movie tells you how shy we both were.

That's the first memory that came to mind, not sure if it's my favorite but it is memorable!

Mrs. Bee and I saw "Before Sunset" together back in 2004 (!!)... and we both loved it so much. So many scenes were great, but this song was especially great.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVIHo-0JKA8

Julie Delpy actually wrote the waltz she sang here!

I remember when the movie ended, I was so surprised because it just ended in the middle of a scene.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjKeCxP7-sc

Afterward, Bee and I talked about the ending together, and decided that we really liked it. I really liked that the ending required some digestion to really enjoy it, and that we were able to experience that together.

It was watching Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy walk around Paris that got me thinking that one day, maybe we'll live in Paris for a year or so. So maybe the movie will impact my life someday too? In any case, watching this movie with Mrs. Bee is a special memory for me.

"Baby, you are going to miss that plane."
"I know."

What's your favorite memory of watching a movie together with your SO?
