@Shantuck: I am looking at the Nesting Days carrier! We have a Becco Gemini but DS #1 was never a huge fan of being carried so it hasn't gotten much use. With #2 I know I'll need something in the early days.

@crazydoglady: Same about the tying and wrapping, I need something I can just put on quickly!

The k'tan really confused me for some reason; but I loved using the boba wrap for those newborn days.

I got the k'tan but after reading up on all the stretching out comments, I got the half cotton half mesh one. I never had a problem with it stretching out and I liked the flexibility of the mesh for hotter days.

My daughter loved that thing and it was the trick to getting her to sleep on her roughest nights. I was very sad when she outgrew it (she was much bigger than my first haha)

We have the Beco Gemini and have been using it since about 9 weeks. I love it. We also have a boba which my daughter didn’t really like. The wrapping wasn’t so hard but I never felt totally secure in it.

@crazydoglady: The Solly wrap is my favorite. I have 2! I got them both used on eBay. They’re about $60 New on sollybaby.com. I think I got mine for around $40.

I bought the Nesting Days Carrier (https://www.nestingdays.com) for the early days with #2, which I was super excited about. However, LO#2 didn’t really like any baby carriers so I barely used it. She was happiest in her rnp for some reason and it was winter so we barely left the house.

k'tan. But if money is a concern, maybe wait til baby is here and you can try it out. I had best luck with the k'tan but my LO for whatever reason just doesn't like being worn, so it was still basically a waste of money.

K’tan but wait to see how large your baby is. I had a size small for my first and she was a small 7.5 lbs. my second was 8.5 and he was squished.l in it. I gave up. The solly was fairly easy once I practiced but then I just started using by beco quickly bc he was a more robust baby

I love my Sakura bloom ring sling! It’s so snuggly until they get too heavy (for me... some people say they love wearing their toddlers in them). And I get so many compliments! Not cheap but I bet you could find a used one?

I liked the k’tan with my first, but I ended up really enjoying (preferring) the ring sling for my second and third newborns. It also had greater longevity past that stage. By 4-5 months, the k’tan stretched out too much with each wear and became less comfortable.

How about a Tula free to grow or the Ergo equivalent? Then you wouldn’t need an infant insert and could use from birth.

I loved babywearing but never really got the hang of wrapping either but a lot of people love Solly Baby wraps! I had a ring sling too but never really got the hang of it.

I just got myself a Liliebaby Airflow (on sale!) but would like a softer newborn option without breaking the bank. I am hopeless at tying and wrapping, so something that I can just pop the baby in is what I am looking for. Thanks!
