My friends all love to tease me, but you know who they're coming to when they need advice on it :wink: My DH's favorite is California Grill - it's at the top of the Contemporary Resort. Their dinner reservations fill up fast, but it's super cool because you can go outside during dinner and watch the fireworks from the balcony, they pipe the music in and everything. And the food is totally amazing, my DH is particularly obsessed with their California Rolls, which I can't really comment on since I'm not a big fan of sushi.</p> <p>We always struggle with getting a good spot for Illuminations at Epcot (like, we'll camp out at our spots an hour beforehand and then have people trying to push us out of the way 5 minutes before it starts) so on our last trip we made dinnertime reservations at the Rose &amp; Crown Cafe since it's right up against the lagoon. and you're not fighting for space. River Country is (or should I say was) the waterpark that had that feel to it. It was closed in 2001 though :sad: </p> <p>@Crystal: Soarin' is a ride at Epcot. The full name, which explains a bit more, is Soarin' over California. It's a simulator type ride where the rows of seats are lifted into the air with your feet hanging, and they sway around in front of a giant screen - sounds weird but it's so cool! They even pump in the appropriate smells to help you feel like you're really in whatever scene you're experiencing. Like, on is an ocean scene with crashing waves, and I always catch myself lifting my feet like they're going to get wet, haha! It's located in The Land pavilion (part of Future World.)</p> <p>@SnowLion: Expedition Everest would be my favorite if they would fix the Yeti!
