But spring would be my second least favorite because all the bugs reappear. I love winter, but now that I have a kid I guess autumn is my new favorite. The crazy superbugs survive through the first frost and scare the living bejeezus out of me, but I guess the ability to still go outside to the park makes it worth it.</p> <p>That being said, I can't believe this winter... January in New England and we went to the park this morning and yesterday morning. Unheard of. I love Chicago in the fall and summer. There's tons of festivals and farmers markets going on. I love that I can go to Daley Plaza on Thursdays to pick up fresh fruit and veggies. The crisp air, the changing leaves, the holidays around the corner....</p> <p>But now that we have two kids, I might change my answer to spring! Spring is actually more gorgeous than fall on the NY streets when tulips, cherry blossoms, magnolias, and hydrangeas are in bloom. Plus it means summer is around the corner! Summer may be hot, but there are a lot more things to do when the days are longer and the temps are warmer.
