My favorite tradition is that I organize a gift drive for 20 local kids, and my kids are SO excited about helping with it every year. We chose three events outside of the home to do (other than tree cutting) that my husband and I look forward to as much as our children. We also do a number of Christmas activities at home that DD1 is old enough to anticipate and look forward to. </p> <p>I LOVE Christmas lights! I love seeing all the houses decorated. We live right by the Fisher Price campus/factory and they deck it out every year. I go out of my way to drive by it, and run by it almost every morning. We take our girls there once per season to walk around and gaze at all the lights. </p> <p>On Christmas Eve everyone in my husband’s family goes to his Grandma’s house for an appetizer dinner and the annual “Christmas show.” He has some really musically inclined family members that perform, and others that make up hilarious skits. My girls both pick random costumes from the costume room and sing a song that they choose and practice on their own ahead of time.</p> <p>I also love Christmas Day. We open presents with our girls, go to church, and then go to my parents for the rest of the day which we have been doing since my husband and I started dating.
