The cheapest rental houses are 4-500$ a month more expensive than owning a similar house (even if you include insurance, PMI, etc), because this is a college town where they rent by the bedroom.</p> <p>We bought 3 years ago. It's interesting that you bring up how people are waiting to do things, because in my group, we are the only homeowners and only parents.
