I actually like baking for the most part. I guess I maybe don't enjoy making Swiss Merengue Buttercream because it takes sooo damn long it feels like, but it's so delicious and pretty when it is done that it seems worth it. </p> <p>I do agree that sugar cookies are an ordeal. The making, the rolling, the cutting, the baking, the decorating--- bah! Although I think they are really tasty and always super cute so those seem worth it too. (I put almond extract in my recipe and I think it makes all the difference!). They don't taste good and they take ALL day to make. DH watched the LO's yesterday and decided to bake sugar cookies. He ran out of flour (to roll with) so he chilled the dough so I could finish them today while he's at work. </p> <p>My kitchen is crazy gross now! And I don't have anything good to show for it :) </p>
