I just found out her teacher is a recent cancer survivor, ugh now I feel bad for complaining about how she comes across at times.

in my daughters 3s class, her main teacher is super bubbly, friendly, and sweet. she welcomes my daughter in every day, make sure she settles down okay, etc. in her previous class (the 2s class), it was the exact opposite. seriously the two morning teachers haven't had their morning coffee or something. it was silence coming in most days and not much interaction between them and the kids. my sons infant class is inbetween. the teachers are pretty friendly and nice in the morning. i'm not looking fwd to when he moves up to the 2s class :-/

Like you said, you'd think that teachers working in a preschool would have a super friendly personality! i've talked to other parents about our 2s class teachers and they all agree, they def aren't friendly to the parents.

For my son, his main teacher is very bubbly and warm. There is a new assistant, a young guy, who I haven't interacted much with yet, so I don't know what he is like.

For DD there is a main teacher and 2 assistants (one is new). I adore the main teacher, she's not bubbly at all but you can tell she loves kids and loves her job and is very gentle and soft spoken. The old assistant seems more reserved and straight forward and the new assistant seems a bit more friendly. None of the younger class teachers seem really peppy.

We got to a special needs 3's and 4's preschool, everyone is very positive, nurturing, and happy to see the kids. I hope this works out for you guys, that sounds pretty disappointing!

We just had our first dY today. One is super warm and friendly and sweet and the other is a bit more reserved. I am glad one is super friendly at least, although I'm sure they have great teaching styles and complement each other.

We've only been to orientation and one day of school so far (2's class) but all three teachers seem really upbeat and excited to see the kids each time.

We have definitely had some teachers who are more bubbly than others. But I would be uncomfortable if my child's teacher didn't even greet her when she showed up in the morning.

My LO just started 3's preschool and I'm a little surprised by their personalities. They aren't peppy/excited/smiley. They open the door at drop off and just let the kids come in, no happy greeting. They don't smile much either. I mean maybe I'm being silly and overthinking it but I just assumed they would have a little bit more of a bubbly personality being preschool teachers and all.

What type of personality does your LO's teacher have? You can answer for daycare or older kids as well!
