Then I play with her until it is time for a nap and put her down then eat my breakfast. Then when she gets up she eats again and we play for a little bit then I give her a bath and put her down for her second nap of the day while I hop in the shower and get ready for the day. </p> <p>If she sleeps until 8 or later, I wake up whenever she wakes up and get up and change and dress her and feed her. Daddy eventually wakes up and comes out to keep LO entertained while I shower and get ready for work. Then we swap and daddy showers while I get LO washed, brushed and ready for daycare. Sad Mama, no time to myself this morning. So I took a quick shower, then went to get her. I got ready (non washing hair day so faster) while she played in the bathroom and closet. Then I made her breakfast, she pooped, so I changed her, reheated her breakfast. Fight with her to not put her fork through her hair, and eat breakfast. Cleaned her up and then got her dressed. Sometimes DH takes him or sometimes my mom comes over to our place. Those days are easier (obviously).</p> <p>On my WFH days I try to eat breakfast with DS (after all of the above) and start my work day a lil later. There is zero fluctuation... unless one of the kids sleeps in, in which case maybe I don't shave that morning. It's basically the plot to Groundhog Day...</p> <p>What's your morning parenting routine? </p>
