I don't mind the occasional stay home/lazy day. But I feel like we usually end up in front of the TV and I'm really trying to eliminate excessive screen time from our lives. I spend way more time at home with DS so I want to go out and do activites on the weekends whereas DH spends almost no time at home with DS so he is happy to just stay in and play with toys or out in the yard. A few days/week we run errands and when we don't have anything we need to do, I try to take her to the park or a play spot or something. He likes doing outside activities around the house like gardening and playing w DS' outdoor toys together but Dh isn't home as often as I am so he likes to keep the big out of the house outings to a handful of times a month! Though he's a trooper for me when I schedule a bunch of outings! </p>
