Lay on the couch and sleep.

Really all I did was walk for 30 minutes an evening. I never felt great enough to do more than that, my work is pretty active, so I counted that too.

I'm a big fan of not having a routine -- I get bored too easily. My only goal is 40-minute workouts 4x a week. Sometimes it's a pregnancy DVD, sometimes it's a long walk, sometimes it's the elliptical - just depends on what I'm feeling that day.

@sylvie_b: What is barre pilates? Is that like a ballet class for adults? It sounds awesome!

Were you doing hip hop before? I've seen zumba classes but don't want to start them pregnant (also because I'm doing PT for an ankle injury). I really want to try them after baby though!

Dailey method (barre Pilates) + 1 hr cardio 2x wk, hip hop dance class 2x week. I really think the workouts have helped keep the fatigue at bay!

I did Crossfit 4-5x a week while pregnant. Pre-pregnancy I crossfitted 5-6x a week so I scaled back a tiny bit ;). The gym is like a second home to me...I couldn't get away!

Elliptical 3x a week for 20 minutes, and 1 barre-based fitness class a week. I throw in some light weights when working out on my own sometimes. And always lots of walking because we live in the city and don't have a car!

I am 28 weeks and I try to go 4x a week to the gym. Each time I do 30 mins on the elliptical and then a little over 30 minutes of weights. In the past couple of weeks, it HAS gotten harder on the elliptical. I am moving slower. But I'm not pushing myself, I just kind of take my time getting through everything. Initially, I was still pushing myself on the elliptical as I would if I wasn't pregnant, but with this huge basketball hanging off of me, it is definitely a slower workout now! I have also started to get more round ligament pain in my belly when on the elliptical, which is annoying.

I kept it to a minimum in the first tri because I was on bedrest for a subchorionic hemmorrhage, but I've picked up this routine for the second tri and now into the third. I hope I can keep up with it!

There's so many things that come up during pregnancy and since I never know how I'm going to be feeling, I've purposely not made an exercise routine for the first time in years! I almost always attend my prenatal yoga class that is offered on Wednesdays. And I try to fit in 2 or 3 other days during the week where I either walk, lift light weights, or do something else active like swimming. I love not having a schedule with my workouts and am just enjoying lostenig to how my body is feeling and rest if I need it or push or if I'm feeling strong. Just another idea/viewpoint!

@mountainmama: I have a hard time making myself do yoga too! I went to a non-prenatal yoga class and it was good, but it's the same day as water aerobics so I haven't gone back. (I know, I know, water aerobics??? SO 1980s pregnancy. But it feels great!)

When I do do yoga on my own (which is getting tough with the heartburn) I feel amazing. I don't know if there's just more benefit to it now being pregnant than there was before, or if I'm just getting better at it, but I've really noticed a difference!

I'm still early on (8 w 3d), but I have been running 3 or 4 miles about 3 x a week, and taking shorter walks on several other days. The first few weeks I was doing a yoga dvd once a week, but that has fallen away as I've gotten more tired (oddly enough, I'm still able to motivate to go for a run, but not to do yoga!)

My goal is to keep running 3x a week, and add in at least one long walk (4 miles) a week. I think once I get to 12 weeks I will start going to a yoga class once a week. I'd really like to practice yoga frequently throughout my pregnancy, but it has always been easier for me to motivate to do cardio outside!

Crossfit 2-3x/week and a double header softball game one night a week. Pretty much the same as before, but a lighter intensity and lighter weights

I've been really trying to workout since I got pregnant, but I haven't had a routine yet! First it was hiking/doing a DVD, but it got too hot to hike this summer (for this prego at least!). Then I got whooping cough and took it easy for a bit. Then we were moving, but I was doing some yoga. Then I took up swimming for a bit, but I went on vacation (kept up with the elliptical and walking then) and when I came back it was killing my heartburn!! Also I've had this chronic ankle injury that has really flared up in recent weeks, so I'm trying not to do weight bearing exercises on my ankle.

So this week we signed up for a gym (finally!) and I'm really looking forward to having a routine. Here's what I'm thinking:

Water aerobics 2x week
Strength training 2x week (arms, abs on the exercise ball) and doing elliptical or walking in the pool.

I want to do some labor-ready exercises too.

Do you have a workout routine or schedule?
