At night I remove my makeup with either Clinique's Take The Day Off balm or Urban Decay's Meltdown makeup remover. I wash my face with Clinique's 7 day scrub, followed by Cetaphil face wash. I use Cetaphil lotion on my face and neck, and Origins GinZing eye cream under my eyes.

I don't wash my face again in the morning, I just reapply my eye cream and put on my makeup. Washing my face twice a day was causing me to break out and have oily skin. My skin has been pretty under control since switching to this routine! I guess it remains to be seen what happens after pregnancy!

I'm a little more high maintenance when it comes to skincare, but I really enjoy the process of it.

Every morning I wash my face in the shower with a scrubbing face wash. Once a week I also add in a baking soda scrub while in the shower...it's the best thing ever!! It will scrub all the dead skin off your face and if you do it often, your skin will glow.

After shower I remove any excess makeup with a face wipe. Then I apply a hydrating toner, then eye cream, then a moisturizer.

At night I use a cleansing oil to remove my makeup (best stuff ever), then repeat the same after shower steps. I have a special night moisturizer I use though. My skin stays pretty clear all the time as long as I remove my makeup every night (which I sometimes get too lazy to do!)

My skin has gotten really oily lately...I buy those little oil blotting sheets and they work wonders! They really don't compare to just using a paper towel or something else.

Like some have said before - prebaby I was pretty good most of the time and stuck to my routine but now I'm hit or miss. I've gone back and forth between products and right now have been using Murad (environmental shield line)

AM: wash face w/ cleanser and clarisonic, apply serum and moisturizer w/ spf

PM: wash face w/ cleanser and clarisonic, apply serum, night moisturizer, and eye cream.

When I got off BC last year when we were TTC I had major breakouts and Mario Badescu and Juice Beauty products seemed to work best for me.

@daniellemybelle: I am the same. I don't wear much make-up and never wash my face at night.

Right now I'm alternating between Burt's Bees Soap Bark Cleanser and Yes to Cucumbers sensitive skin wash. I dab some of my belly butter on the dry areas of my face (I have patches around my mouth and between my eyebrows). If I know I'm going to be outside a lot that day, I skip the belly butter and put on some Alba Botanica SPF 30 sunscreen. It's extremely emollient and keeps me moisturized.

@MamaJ: How do you like that face wash/moisturizer?

@Mrs. Champagne: @LindsayInNY: i don't use anything too crazy expensive as far as anti-aging goes. i think Clinique's repairwear laser focus serum is awesome. so good for sensitive skin and i know it's highly concentrated with a lot of great ingredients. i also love kiehl's avocado eye cream, as well as shiseido's benefiance eye cream. with under eye / wrinkle care especially, my rule of thumb is to always go with a thicker, richer formula instead of an under eye gel, or something less moisturizing.

Pre-baby I was really good!

Simple wash with water in the A.M. Followed by serum.
Shu Uemura Cleasing Oil and wash cloth OR Clarusinic with a foaming gentle cleanser at night. I can't use the Clairisonic everyday or I breakout like mad. Serum, face cream. And mask if I'm lucky every couple of weeks. Since pregnancy though I've gotten really slack and more often than I care to admit - clean my face with 2 face wipes and follow it with moisturizer. :(
Now that baby's getting to bed faster, I need to up my routine faithfully again!

I think the best piece of advice my mom ever gave me was to never go to bed with makeup on!! When I'm lazy and don't wash my face before bed I break out!

At night I just wash my face with alba Hawaiian cleanser and moisturize with Alba Hawaiian moisturizer. If I have a breakout I use witch hazel after washing.

I don't usually wash my face in the morning, just moisurize before putting makeup on.

My skin was very oily, shiny, and prone to breakouts before I found a routine that worked for me. I found that anything stripping (foaming cleansers, soaps, toners, astringents, etc) would make me *more* oily and shiny instead of less. I've had the same routine for years since I'm afraid of my skin reverting to the way it was. I just recently added maracuja oil to my night routine because my friends have been switching to anti-aging/anti-wrinkle products, and I thought maybe it would be a good idea to add something anti-aging myself. :P

AM: Rub creamy cleanser into dry skin, wet fingers and emulsify then rinse off. Aveeno positively radiant moisturizer with SPF. If I'm going out, I mix in a bit of BB cream.

PM: Use cream cleanser same as above. Rub two drops of maracuja oil all over face followed by face cream (Yu-Be). Dab on eye cream.

@lindsayinny It's too embarrassing! ;) I do believe that sometimes though, less is more with skin care. Sometimes I just cleanse and slap on moisturizer and call it a day, and my skin looks the same I think.

I'm a little obsessive about my skin care, it's embarrassing. Here's the toned down version for summer weather, because winter is a different story.

Morning:
- Wash face with either Clinique Liquid Facial Soap (or their foaming face wash for acne if I'm having breakouts) or Dermadoctor Litmus Test Glycolic Acid facial wash. I'll also use Clarisonic 3x a week in the mornings while I wash my face.
- Softener or Essence Lotion (Estee Lauder or Shiseido)
- Serum (Clinique Repairwear or Dark Spot Corrector)
- Moisturizer (Clinique Moisture Surge)
- SPF Fluid (Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector or Clinique Derma White Anti-Pollution SPF)

PM:
- Wipe off makeup with Pond's wipes and same routine as above, minus SPF. I'll also do an eye cream 3x a week - Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair for Eyes, or Clinique Repairwear Eye Cream.

I'm also a big believer in clay / mud masks and will do them 2-3x a week. I think they totally make a noticeable difference in my extremely oily skin (forehead and T-zone) and just shrinks the pores for a more "porcelain" look. My favorites on rotation are:

- C Booth Deep Cleansing Volcanic Mud Mask, one of my reliable go-tos. I used to get it off Amazon or Ulta in bulk and it's a cheapie.
- Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal, a drugstore cheapie that is also amazing.
- DDF Sulfur Mask, one of my all time HGs.
- GLAMGLOW Super Mud Clearing Treatment.
- Omorovicza - if you really want to splurge. This stuff is unreal, and they finally carry it on Sephora.com.

Oh man, mine is kind of complex compared to everyone so far!

AM: Cetaphil cleaner, clarifying toner, daytime eye cream, normalizing day oil (which is an oil moisturizer, much lighter than it sounds, I have oily skin!). Then makeup.

PM: If I have a lot of makeup on, I'll remove it with Ponds cold cream (pretty sure I'm the only one under 80 who uses this stuff lol). Wash face with Cetaphil, toner. Apply nighttime skin serum, nighttime eye cream, nighttime spot treatment, etc.

I'm the worst at skincare and remembering to take my makeup off. Thankfully, pregnancy has pretty much made my skin like a 15 y/o. I LOVE IT! But, before getting pregnant, I invested in the Clarisonic Mia 2, and it changed everything! I use it every day in the shower, and try to remember to remove my makeup each night with the "Say Yes! to Cucumber" face cloths. Both of those together changed my face.

Oooh, subscribing to this one! My skin has been super wacky since going off BC in the fall. It feels like nothing works - I'm just stuck with what my hormones decide to do :(

At night I use a mild cleanser (Aveda) with the Oil of Olay scrubbing brush. Then I use Say Yes to Carrots brightening clothes. I finish with a moisturizing night cream along with an eye cream. In the morning I don't wash my face again, I just use facial wipes and put my spf on.

Lately I've been having a lot of breakouts. Its so bad! It's totally my fault too because I've been going to bed with a full face of make up! woops!

Anyways, I've started using a cleanser, then a toner, then a moisturizer before bed and in the morning. I've only been doing it for a few days and I'm already noticing a difference.

What's your beauty routine? What type of products to you use? And BONUS POINTS: how do you get rid of forehead shine?!
