She doesn't really try to get into anything most times. I can hear her from the other level and check on her every 15 minutes or so. We had a camera though. I let her play in there by herself as often as she wants. DD1 has a lot of toys in her bedroom so she likes to go up there and play, especially as her small toys that she can't have around little sister are mainly stored up there. Her bedroom is upstairs and the main playroom is on the ground floor - I'm fine with her being up there on her own though. DD is just over 3 years old and we have started letting her go down there by herself to play without one of us with her constantly. We check on her frequently though. When did you feel comfortable letting your child play by themselves on another level of the home? </p>
