For me, it's when a baby really walks on a regular basis. For us, it was when my son turned 1. I dunno, I feel any child under one is still a baby to me.

It makes me a little sad but on the other hand I love that my daughter has grown more independent vs. being stuck to my side all the time. It has actually lessened my desire to have another baby because I don't want to start all over again as she is getting easier and easier.

@MrBee: I WANT to start trying NOW! :) We just moved to Chicago and hubby had a promising job interview on Friday. You can bet that if he gets/takes that job we will be TTC very soon. :) I'm hoping I can fill out an application to become a hellobee blogger maybe soon! :)

Ahh yes... It is so exciting and saddening watching the little ones grow up. I miss the days where we would just sit and cuddle. My daughter also started walking at around 9 months and I miss having my little baby... which is why we are having another baby :D

So I was wondering the other day (and actually wrote a post about this) when the exact point is when you baby becomes a toddler.

So I looked up the definition of "to toddle" in the dictionary- to walk with short, unsteady steps. Therefore, I guess babies become toddlers when they start walking more regularly.

Which brings me to the point of this post. I've been mourning the loss of my baby to toddlerhood for a few weeks now. My almost 10 month old has been walking for a month, and don't get me wrong I love the walking and talking she's learning, but I'm really going to miss my little baby. :(
