Around 2 was when I felt comfortable giving him raw veggies and fruits. But he STILL has a hard time with apples and carrots. As in at least once a week he chokes on them and he's now 3.

It depends on how she's feeling. Some days she'll eat hard/crunchy foods, other days she'll chew and spit out. :P
She's almost 20 months old and has all of her teeth!

It all depends on how many teeth are in the mouth to do the chewing :) I'd say once all the front four and first molars were in, they can get into more crunchy stuff. (Usually the first molars come in before the canines but not always.)

My LO didn't start eating raw veggies until maybe 12 mo. Before that he would maybe gnaw on an apple but spit it out after getting all the juice out of it. He still doesn't like them too much but does really like cucumbers and apples.

Is she actually eating raw veggies though? He can gnaw at things but feeds himself pretty well and what I'm wondering is when he'll be able to handle a raw slice of apple:pop in his mouth like he does everything else and chew it easily.

Like a raw apple or bell pepper? We're in a veggie rut because I'm trying to roast or steam other veggies to make them soft but he doesn't like them and I don't either, to be truthful. When he can eat more crunchy things it'll help open up so many other options! So when could your LO? I offer a crunchier or firmer piece sometimes and it just gets spit out.
