J's always loved hot and spicy, since he started solids. We always gave him tastes of what we were having for dinner and he really loved curry and spiced dishes.
I love it, too but DH can't stand anything spicy or sour.

My daughter has loved spicy food from the beginning but even more now at 2 1/2. She always asking for more pepper, salsa, ect. added to her meals. She doesn't do well with raw peppers (weirdly) but I can make a pot of spicy chili and it has no affect on her and she wants 2nd/3rds. She has her daddy's tummy! Also, LOVES chili sauce, which is good because I do too ;)

@Mrs. Bee: I don't think I could eat that many, go Charlie!@sarac: @NeekieRose: @LovelyPlum: @.twist.: @PinkElephant: Thanks ladies. It seems it's up to the baby then! It's funny because he can handle salsa, but I have to avoid pepper, chili powder and cayenne with him. Makes me sad because I love Thai and Indian food. Kid is missing out.

From the time they ate solids. Last nightDD#2 (9 months) was eating tabbouleh that my hubby for some reason made super spicy, and even though her eyes were watering she kept lunging for more!

DD#1 likes spice less in her meals, but eats wasabi peas and indian snack mixes like there's no tomorrow!

Not that it's that hot, but DD ate hot italian sausage two nights ago. She's 15 months. I was slightly wary to give it to her, but she had no problem eating it.

My daughter could actually handle hotter stuff when she was a baby. Now, at 3, she can do kind of spicy, but that's it.

Charlie ate a bunch of flaming hot cheetos last summer when he was 4! He doesn't love spicy food, but he could definitely eat it better around 4.

My LO likes mildly spicy food, such as I can stir in a little salsa with his black beans at times, but yesterday I gave him some tikki masal that had 1/2 tablespoon of cayenne in the mix, and I felt terrible because he kept crying until I got some milk down him.

So as the title states, when did your kid start eating spicy food?
