Glad I'm not the only one and that there's still time for things to shift back to normal! I'm only 3 months pp, so early days yet. My thighs got super skinny during pregnancy--baby took all of my fat. But my hips are definitely wider. It makes me sad to have to give away my favorite jeans, especially when my weight is back to normal. I think the shoes not fitting is the most frustrating though. My feet are longer!

@Rockies11: I haven't been accepting this truth lol and still more or less keep my clothes and once in a while try to squeeze into them to see if I fit again!

@snowjewelz: yeah totally - every single shirt, blazer and suit jacket is like that! And the pants I used to wear are like doll's clothes or something. I can't even get them up my legs. Even my extensive shoe collection does not fit at all whatsoever! It's frustrating because I built up a collection of really beautiful clothes all through my 20s working and then boom, back to nothing.

@Rockies11: Ugh me too! Clothes don't fit in the armpit/rib cage area and I'm convinced it's permanent and has nothing to do with weight!

I'm four months pp and my clothes fit for the most part but my boobs are HUGE and I have a deflated pooch. I should add, I haven't been exercising besides long walks.

I think about 5 months pp my body was mostly back to my pre-pregnancy shape and size.

@LindsayLou: I am 2.5 years pp from my first, 6 months pp from my second. I now weigh the same as I did before I got pregnant with my first and my shape is totally different still. My clothes from before do not fit at all - I am much wider than I used to be, and everything is just bigger even though I am in reasonably good shape. I kept some of my very favourite things in a box downstairs in case some magic happens, but I have bought lots of clothes that better fit and flatter my current shape! I haven't bought anything really nice though - I think I will wait until I am done having kids and some time has passed.

I was back to my body size/shape by about 5 mo pp. so I wouldn't get rid of your stuff yet!

I weigh less than I did before getting pregnant, and most of my clothes fit size-wise. But many of them fit differently. I want to get rid of half my wardrobe, but worry that my body shape will keep changing and then I'll wish I still had the old clothes. When did you feel that your body shape settled into the new normal?
