Now that it is getting warmer I am ready to change because it is so heavy! She doesn't even stay asleep in it ninety percent of the time so it's useless. I think I will switch her this weekend actually. I had originally planned to keep him in it till 1 year but honestly I think he didn't like being reclined so much and I was starting to hate that the straps kept twisting. (I also have the Chicco Keyfit 30). We often just left the car seat in the base in the car, but it was so nice to have the option to carry her up the stairs in the seat when she fell asleep in the car. I think she was 17 lbs or around there? gosh, I don't even remember. haha. </p> <p>this time, my baby is probably around 10-11 lbs and I'm already over it. but, I'm lugging a 2.5 year old and a baby+seat to and from the car (we have on street parking down a flight of concrete stairs). It would be way easier to have one on each hip but 1) my infant can't sit like that yet, lol, and 2) it's still crappy weather here.
