We were lucky and DD could tolerate it in my milk at 3 months (first trial!) and did fine with food until 12 months when we introduced wcm. She had tolerated yogurt and cheese and butter, but the wcm was bad news. It was an easy fix, and apparently is common (something about the proteins not being broken down in wcm like other dairy). We haven't tried wcm again yet at 18 months, but we don't care because she loves coconut, almond and hemp milks.

Mine only had reactions to dairy, and seems to have lost the sensitivity now at 7 mos, although I noticed the more extreme reactions fading sooner. I'm still not feeding her dairy products, but I can have moderate amounts without it affecting her.

My first tolerated it in my BM around 10-11 months (though I hadn't tried any earlier). She still to this day at age 4 has flare ups of eczema if she has dairy daily, but can tolerates a slice of pizza or whatever with no ill effects on her tummy.

My second was on an elemental formula starting at four months because she reacted to so many different proteins… I didn't even introduce dairy until she was like a year and a half ha ha. But she seems to have no issues at all and drinks whole milk daily at age 2. :)

DD reacted to dairy, soy, peas, and basically all other legumes. Around 7 months she started to tolerate small quantities in my diet, and by about a year she could have everything herself. She still gets mucousy poops if she has too many legumes, but drinks plenty of cows milk without issue.

@bees_knees: I am same way, being dairy free wS definitely good for me but not that I can have it I can't resist. :silly:
I voted 12-18 but it was basically 18 months. I didn't try that hard to introduce beforehand though (several half hearted attempts that always seemed to provoke reactions but who knows in retrospect).

Baked dairy is less of an issue than "raw" so. That might be fine but not legit milked, etc.

I didn't vote because I feel like it was gradual. They could tolerate it through breast milk sometime before a year but were not fully over it until 15-18 months.

I voted 9-12 mo, but it actually could have been earlier. I was too scared to reintroduce any of the offending ingredients until LO was 12 months, and at that point, she seemed totally fine.

My oldest was less severe and outgrew by about 6 months. My youngest was more severe and outgrew by 9 months. He was definitely still reacting at 6, 7, and 8 months.

DS1 had pretty severe MSPI that we discovered when he was 10 weeks old. He was able to tolerate soy at 12 months and dairy at 18 months. DS2 is also MSPI (I was prepared for it this time, so noticed it at 2-3 weeks old). He is currently 7 months (ebf) and in the past two weeks I've been able to eat soy sauce and soy milk and haven't seen any reactions from him, so I'm also trying a small amount of dairy (we're talking bread baked with milk ingredients and a tiny amount of caramel sauce in my coffee). Is this really it?! Could he really have grown out of it this soon?! Part of me is ecstatic, part of me is sad bc I myself feel so much better when I don't eat dairy, but don't have the self control to avoid it unless it's while I'm nursing a sensitive LO :silly:
