But his hand eye coordination improved a lot between 4 and 5 months. My daughter is 4 months and although she loves sucking on her hands while she's awake, she pokes herself in the eye and bothers/upsets herself with her hands if she's not swaddled while sleeping. Getting up to put her paci back in is wearing on me!
