Congrats!
My son quit the stroller at around 18 months. We still went on super long walks and I was terrified he would run into the street...so my solution was to give him his own doll stroller, that he would push along while I would push his empty one.

So I'd wait and see, even though I LOVE the Bugaboo Donkey.

It depends, where do you live and how much do you already use the stroller?

We live in a big city and do not have a car, so we use the stroller all the time and DS is 2.5. Baby 2 will be born right before DS turns 3 and I am planning on doing the roller board for him on our single stroller. I think if DS was just turning 2 for the birth instead of 3, I would have gone with a double stroller (the Donkey, for sure :-)).

@HLK208: I only really "announced" on the POAS boards ! Eek! I can't believe it's reeeeeaaaaalllll! DD and I walk all the time but its mostly in our downtown area and I'm scared she would run in traffic while I'm pushing a stroller so I'm def leaning towards the double.

@Sweet T: I know! We already have two strollers so I'd definitely want to get rid of one. Ughhh

@anbanan15: DD likes to be worn also but at 25 lbs right now she hurts my back! I can't imagine her 5 or so lbs heavier next year :( you must be strong!

At 22 months I still use mine a lot - we do a lot of activities where we walk for miles or more, and she certainly can't walk that long.

Congrats! So cute they will share the same birth month!

We rarely use our stroller, but it's always been that way. He just preferred to be worn, even now at 27 mo. We are going to hold off on a double until we see if it's necessary. We got such little use out of the first stroller that I don't want to get a double and end up in the same position.

DS will be 2 next month (omg!) and we still use a stroller. DS2 is due at the end of October. I think we're going to try and go without a double stroller. I really don't want to buy another stroller if I don't have to. I'm hoping the single strollers we have plus our carriers will be enough.

Congratulations! We still use our stroller today, and LO is 27 months old. I'm debating whether or not to get a double stroller, and I will decided after baby arrives. We don't use our stroller too often since LO will walk most of the time. When we're out for long periods of time I like for him to have a place to rest, and he can usually get a good nap in there too.

Eeek, so excited for you!! I think I missed your big news?!? Congrats!!

We used the stroller regularly until DS was 3. Mostly in places I didn't want him walking (busy city streets, stores where he would run away, etc.) after that, I only used the jogging stroller with both of them since he can't keep up on his bike. He still rides in the jogging stroller at 4.

So we did get a double. If I didn't run frequently, I could have worn #2 while my oldest sat in the stroller if he got tired or needed a nap. But he was a full year older than your DD will be when baby #2 comes. If I were you, I'd get a double!

Congrats!

I still use a stroller for my 19 month toddler. Sometimes she wants to walk and sometimes she wants to sit next to her sister!

DD will be turning 2 the same month LO #2 is born. Do I need a double stroller? Should I just get a kickstand for our Orbit stroller?

I'm thinking of getting the Bugaboo Donkey if I did get a double so that I could use it as a single if I didn't use 2nd seat long.
