One close friend of ours has a daughter who just turned 8. He was 21 when she was born. Another close friend is expecting a baby this winter, and he's 29. The rest of our friends are still child free, and a lot of them are single. Only two of them have babies but it isn't for a lack of effort. The majority of the ones who didn't had kids in their early 20's; the majority of the ones who did are now in their early 30's and just starting to have kids.
