I couldn't tell if it was true "nesting" or that I was getting disgusted with having unpacked boxes and disorganization in our new house after our move. Our nursery is still not complete (and will not be when baby is born as we want to wait on a few things) but I found that I had this crazy burst of energy to clean and organize since about 32 weeks... hoping it stays in place to get me through the next few weeks!</p> <p>I also have a lot of trouble shutting my mind down at night and think of all the things I could or should be doing. I always felt anxious to kept the dust and stuff under control from the construction, and was super eager to have it done. Once it was done though, I started truly nesting around 32 weeks I think. It was bad. I remember waking up and laying in bed one morning at 5 am obsessing over organizing the junk drawer. Went to IKEA and bought a bunch of stuff for the nursery but also cubes for our reading room Expedit and set those up and rearranged the clutter in that room, culled a bunch of books and clothes to get rid of, installed a door hook on the back of our bathroom door, bought a hanging closet organizer and filled it with DH's baseball hat collection, decorated our porch for Halloween and recovered our dining room chairs. And I'm only 23 weeks! Then, once we started to get stuff in there, I REALLY wanted to do baby laundry and organize his clothes (around 31/32 weeks). Now, at 38 weeks, I've moved on to the rest of the house, lol. But the past few days I've been in a whirlwind of desperately needing to complete things - organize and clean! I have totally organized LO's nursery and closet, steam cleaned our upstairs carpets, cleaned out my car, etc....I even wiped out the refrigerator and organized it, even though our cleaning service comes today (usually my laziness depends on them for everything, but it was bugging me!)....</p> <p>I am also having a terrible time sleeping, not only from being uncomfortable, but from anxiety about everything I need to take care of for home/work/etc.....My mind won't shut down!</p> <p>I am 31 weeks....When did you start nesting? </p>
