I think the fact that it's once a week probably doesn't help increase his comfort level. I swear after 10 minutes or so C would be happy living with strangers. It really freaks me out. We were guaranteed about 10 minutes of crying initially. It took until 18-19 months for him to happily go with them to play. I feel like even if he was in daycare everyday it would be rough. He is very attached to us. I don't mind at all but it makes it hard to leave him somewhere. This is one of the areas where she was a "late-bloomer". But every week as soon as we get to church he immediately starts crying and clinging to me or DH and is sooo upset. He is always fine just minutes after we leave though. It just breaks my heart though! He's been doing this since about 12 months and we go to church weekly, he is 19 months now. </p> <p>I really hope this ends soon. When did the anxiety end for your child? </p>
