Oh, but I will say that I've started to get really annoyed about how huge I'm getting. I'm really sensitive to weight gain in general so this part is hard for me. DH even noticed that in the last week or so I've been talking more and more about my dieting and exercising plans for after the baby comes. I really want to be thin again lol!

I've had a pretty easy and enjoyable pregnancy so far so I really can't complain. But at almost 32 weeks, I've just recently gotten so big that I physically have to slow down while walking and doing everything is a lot harder. The baby is pressing on my diaphram so I breathe heavy all the time now. I also have to buy more maternity clothes in larger sizes to get me through the rest of the summer since I'm just getting so huge (even though my weight gain is totally normal).

I am expecting my body to adjust to it's new size like it has in the past for prior growth spurts though. And I'm doing prenatal yoga which really helps a lot. I'm also eating really healthy which gives me more energy and helps my body function better in general.

I never got that magical burst of energy I heard about, but I felt pretty much fine for most of the second trimester. Around 26 or so weeks I started getting bad hip pain and sciatic nerve issues that lasted a few weeks-- it was so hard to get comfortable and my back just ached. Then, I guess the baby moved lower and off the nerves, because around 32 weeks or so it just got better and I've been pretty much fine. 36 weeks and yeah, I am super tired at the end of the day, and the baby finally managed to wedge his/her foot in under my ribs, but generally I'm feeling really good. Much better than a month ago!

I had a rough patch around 26 weeks but I improved again. I felt good until about 32-34 weeks, when I started feeling GIGANTIC!

I felt physically great right up until DD was born at 42 weeks....save for one week around 25 weeks. Turns out my iron was low and that is very typical of that point of pregnancy. It bounced back within a week or two and I felt completely normal again!

@lawbee11: this makes me feel better! I'm 29wks and have felt exhausted for the past week or so!

I don't think things got much better in the 2nd tri for me; I still had morning sickness through the first half of it, then found it tough to sleep with cramps and waking up to pee etc. Now I'm tired all the time and nausea is returning :(

It only got better!!! I started feeling great around 16 weeks and it went up from there. At 38 weeks I was still talking long walks every day and I felt amazing. I had nothing to complain about.

I found that in the 2nd trimester I had a few rough weeks here and there but for the most part it was an "easy" trimester. I'm very early in the 3rd right now and I still feel like I have more good weeks than bad weeks. I hope things turn around for you too and you start feeling good again.

32 weeks for my first pregnancy, it didn't stay bad but that's when I noticed getting slower and things becoming overall more difficult. But there were waves of discomfort earlier that slowed me down for a few days.

You know what, I started feeling a bit yucky around that time - I felt queasy, I had awful pelvic pain, I couldn't get to sleep and then at 30 weeks it all went away again! I'm sat here at 36 weeks feeling awesome, able to jog up the stairs if I need to, no heartburn, no swelling.... so you really do never know. Don't lose hope - you could still feel good again. I don't think the three clear-cut sections of feel awful - feel great - feel awful hold true for everyone.

Oh!!! This is me!!! I'm 24 weeks and it sucks getting up off of the couch. DH keeps commenting about my big belly and then I start to cry telling him that it's only going to get bigger.

I think it probably varies from person to person. I'll be 34w on Friday and I am still feeling really good. There were a couple of weeks around 28w where I was really tired, but it didn't last long. I am still sleeping well, walking on the treadmill, etc. My feet are starting to swell, though, so I have a feeling the discomfort and aches are just around the corner!

I have had a fairly typical pregnancy in that I was sick from 8-12 weeks, and felt so exhausted I felt like I'd been drugged. Then at 12-13 weeks I started to feel better, and by 16 I was feeling pretty awesome actually. Still easily tired, and I get horrible heartburn, but I had energy and felt good overall.

Now I'm 25w1d, and for the past week or so I haven't felt awesome anymore. At first I chalked it up to tiredness, but even after a good night's sleep I wake up feeling hungover. I'm achey all over, especially my hips and back. I get so uncomfortable at work and all I want to do is take a nap.

It feels too soon to be the beginning of the end of the lovely second trimester! Is it?
