DS has always slept with a blanket, whether it was swaddling or covering him up. There would be varying weights depending on what he was wearing, the house temperature, etc, but he was always in a blanket. Same with DD. She's mostly swaddled but occasionally I'll cover her swaddling with a blanket (we've had a lot of cold snaps lately). DS is 14 months, DD is 3 weeks and some change. I'd probably not worry abou the A+A blankets since they're so thin. You could try a security blanket (smaller) for her to grab on. A+a makes those too. I just introduced blankets to her last week (she's 6 months old) and she LOVES THEM. She has two A+A blankets.</p> <p>This morning before her nap, I gave her a thicker blanket I had as a baby (waffle knit swaddle blanket). She put it to her face, and put herself to sleep in half the time! I'm just paranoid to give it to her overnight because she likes it to be OVER her face. (See my IG post!).</p> <p>When did you allow more than an A+A blanket? </p>
