Two pics were posted by other people and you could tell in both pics. Especially one at 34 weeks. My aunt announced name and gender (we were team green) and that it was a difficult delivery like two seconds after she was born and that's how my mother in law found out her name before we could call her. We were kind of annoyed to say the least. We've seen the heartbeat, and told all of our friends at this point. If something were to go wrong, I'd likely share that news, so I didn't feel weird about announcing on FB. Most people who we were close to already knew (though we do have close friends scattered around the country, so hadn't had a chance to tell some), but I wouldn't do a broad announcement before then--I know someone very well who had announced shortly before the a/s, found a terminal diagnosis at it and then had to re-announce that they lost the pregnancy.
