I didn't tell my family until almost 10 weeks. For one thing, I wanted to wait until I heard a heartbeat. For another, we all live far away from one another, and I wanted to do it in person. It was *HARD*, but the surprise was soooo worth it. Told parents immediately with all of them. The first I announced officially at 9 weeks, which turned out to be all of 3 days before I miscarried. Which sounds awful but I was actually glad to have people know. We got a lot of support. The second I was waiting until betas came back, but they came back bad so I just let people know we'd had another loss once we were sure. This time I think I made it to 6 or 7 weeks before announcing?
