It just happened to work out that we found out before going home for Christmas (we live 8 hours away from our families), and it was very fun to be able to tell people in person! They figured it out pretty quickly. We didn't tell my inlaws until 13 weeks or so. They knew I was supposed to be starting fertility treatments the next month, so I didn't want to leave them in the dark.</p> <p>I was planning on waiting to tell DH's family, but he felt that since my family knew his family should too. We told immediate family after the first prenatal appt, even though we didn't have an ultrasound, since we were together for Christmas, so it was around 8-9 weeks. I couldn't have hidden it over Christmas, sharing a house with DH's family and having morning (all day) sickness.
