She was 4 weeks before her due date! I still can't believe the doctor induced her! They promised her id be born before April 1st...I was born in the morning on April 1st :) I was just over 6lbs and like 17in long. We were in the hospital for a week because I was jaundiced and the internal monitor they inserted cut open my head(which I have a scar from) and my mom got an infection. My mom had a pretty bad placental abruption. I had to be taken by ambulance to a larger hospital that had a higher level NICU. Luckily I only needed to be there a week and then I spent 3 more weeks at my home hospital. </p> <p>The crazy part of the story is that my older sister who was 6.5, was already in the hospital! She almost went into a diabetic coma (they didn't know she had developed Type 1 diabetes until then). (My mom had my older sister premature 8 weeks, and her womb stopped "growing" at the size my sister was, as I grew bigger I became very squished.) I was "lopsided" when I was born, due to the size constrictions. I was borni n Central PA, 3 days after Three Mile Island had their near-nuclear-meltdown situation. They were waiting for the governor to come on tv at 10pm to announce whether they were evacuating the area. His announcement was delayed till 11pm, and she went into labor at like 10:30.
