We had introduced the potty long before, very casually. One day he just went on the potty by himself, so I knew it was time. After he turned two I kinda put it on the back burner but recently he's had his language explosion and we're going to revisit it. Won't start potty training until late this year (November/December) since it will be Summer then and she will be able to run around without a diaper and hopefully get the concept of potty training. He just sits on it right now when I have time to put him on it. I'll start really potty training him after we get back from vacation in July--he'll be 22 months. It was just around and she would sit on it when I used the bathroom. She used the potty a few times just bc we times things right but it was just a few times here and there </p> <p>We did the 3 day potty method at 24 months. There weren't any real signs of readiness but I was just ready to give it a try. I just want to get her used to it, and hopefully she'll sort of lead the way. I don't think it's too far off though! When did you start potty training and how did you know LO was ready? </p>
