The rest will figure it out.

Our oldest will be 5 when #3 comes. So when she's 10, the baby will bet 5 and in Kindergarten as well. So hopefully they would all be doing similar activities.

I think you're spot on. If you know you'll regret it, I'd say go for it and it will all work out. I'd say #1 and #2 may be valid arguments, but you'd be surprised how things fall into place. As an older kid, I loved the feeling of being trusted by my mom to help her with my younger siblings. #3 is the hardest one because it is the most inflexible, but you can probably make things work.

Going off to college, I knew that I wanted at least 4 kids and when I got married after college, I got some very practical advice. "You'll feel done when you're done. If I looked at my youngest and he was no longer a baby, I'd start thinking about whether I wanted him to be my last baby. Everything else was secondary."

We're maybe 3 as well. We haven't decided but your reason #4 makes me want to ignore all the possible "cons" having a 3rd. It's a hard decision! No advice, just comiseration

We are still in the "maybe 3" club. We go back and forth and know we have to decide by next summer. I want another spring or early summer baby, so we would have to start trying next summer to have hte kids in a decent age gap.

My hesitations:
1. having enough patience and time to spend with all 3 kids.
2. How to handle activities as they get older since there are only 2 parents and 3 kids to shuffle around.
3. financially it's a big jump for daycare/vacations/activities, ect.
4. if we don't, I'm scared we'll always regret not having "one more" or feeling like our family is not complete.

I feel like because of reason #4, that means we take the jump right and the rest will work itself out?
