It's been almost a year for me and my scar is still a little tender/tingly. It may be my fault though because I never did any tissue massage to help it heal. Otherwise, I've been back to all of the same activity since maybe 8 weeks pp.

I’m 8 months pp and feel now like I did before the c-section. I felt 100% healed before now….but now when I touch the scar I can’t feel any sort of scar tissue or anything under it and I can actually barely see the scar itself. I haven’t used anything to fade my scar but it is very, very light and hard to see. I think around about 6 months pp I felt totally “healed” although then my scar still felt a little tender to the touch. Now it just feels like normal skin and I feel like nothing happened.

I'm 6 months PP and my scar is still painful- however mine didn't heal completely until 2 months PP- had some issues with it not closing up. I've heard from some people that it doesn't ever feel "normal". I've started rubbing Bio Oil on mine twice a day to hopefully make it less visible... maybe it will make it feel better too?

I am just about 3 months PP, and i feel great for a while now. I can lift heavy things, exercise, walk, etc, just like pre-pregnancy....but the area around my incision still feels sensitive /sore when i touch it. It's not sore if i don't touch or rub it, but I am aware that it's not completely "normal"? how long does it take to feel like you never had a surgery in the first place?
