I think the day before my induction. It finally started to feel real. I stopped being scared and just got excited.

I'm 35 weeks and I feel ready! I'd like her to hunker down at least another 2 weeks of course, but as far as my mental state is concerned , I'm much more excited than scared

About 36 hours into my induction, a few hours before she was born, I thought, hell no. I cannot do this, I don't want to do this, you can't make me. Then I literally laughed out loud at myself, because hello, the baby has to come out.

Never quite ready with #1, my water breaking at 39.1 came as a huge shock :silly:

With #2 I was ready at 36 weeks- so over it all... he came right at 40 weeks after being dilated big time and told to be ready "any minute now" for a month :/

@LovelyPlum: I had a csection, but I was wheeled in and the dr was starting and I STILL didn't feel emotionally ready. Not until she cried and then it all swarmed me.

I thought I felt ready, everything was ready. But once they said I would be having her that night I kept saying I changed my mind...lol. Half out of fear and half to just to lighten the mood I guess. I was one of those women that said I wanted a c section I was so scared of labor and birth ( not to my DR ). But it wasn't anywhere near as bad as my mind hyped it up to be and actually I cant wait to do it again! I had LO at 36weeks.

Over the last 24-36 hours, I have come to the conclusion that I am Ready to have this baby. Maybe I'm not 100% prepared, but I am feeling like I am ready to try labor (which sort of scares me), ready to brave the postpartum fun (which really scares me), and that I want to know who this kid is! I'm trying to be patient, because I know it could still be a while, but I want to go soon! I'm 39+1 today. I don't think it hurts that my doctor said my cervix was very ripe and ready and that right now I want to crawl out of my skin, either. So let's go, little one; Mama is ready! :silly:

When did you feel ready? How much longer did you have to wait until baby actually came
