Thanks ladies, so it seems normal that I haven't felt anything obvious yet. Really hoping it happens soon!!

I had anterior placenta with both my boys. I felt movement that I could clearly identify at around 21-22 weeks with DS1. With DS2, I think it was around 16-17 weeks until I felt him.

My placenta was anterior both times, and for the second baby, I felt him at around 20 weeks.

AP with DS1, I felt waves/butterflies starting at 18/19 weeks, but it wasn't until I was further that I realized what they were, like I thought it was something at that point, but wasn't sure. I didn't feel kicks until later probably closer to 21/22 weeks with DS, and from the outside a week or two after that!

I had posterior with DS1 and felt him clearly by 16w.

I have anterior with DS2 this time, and while I felt little bubbles/popping sensations earlier, I didn't clearly feel him regularly until 22w. It was a bummer that it took so long, specially after a m/c.

I had anterior placentas both times, and both times I felt baby early--12-14 weeks. Unmistakable to me.

BUT both times, my anterior placenta has been high--and I feel the movement super low, and not where my placenta is. So that's probably why.

I had an anterior placenta for both. With #2 i probably felt kicks around 19 weeks. With #1 it was 21-22 weeks.

@hilsy85: She was just a stinker. My last appointment I remember my midwife saying she couldn't find the head, but thought she was head down and sent me for an u/s to confirm. She was kinda short (still is petite) so I think she just had tons of room to flip flop around in there.

@hilsy85: I felt O at 17 weeks with an anterior placenta. I didn't know what it was til 18 weeks though, then realized I'd been feeling it for awhile! And she was my first - So you could definitely be feeling it!

@anbanan15: ah gotcha...I always assumed that was less likely for #2 since it's roomier/stretched out, but I guess not!

@winniebee: I know it's way too early for me to be worrying about this!! I know 20 weeks is much more normal with anterior placenta..

I think I was about 18-20 weeks? I had an AP with both pregnancies and my first was extremely hard for me to feel movement at all during the entire pregnancy (I don't think I started to feel movement until 24-26 weeks and barely after that). I do remember I felt it earlier with my second for sure. I always attributed to the fact that she was transverse or breech until the very end.

Just wondering when you started to feel movement with baby #2? I have heard it's earlier--I started to feel LO1 around 19 weeks, but I had a posterior placenta with him and an anterior placenta with this one. I have felt some things that I THINK are movement, but it feels very different from LO1--more rolling/twisting movements, rather than pops or bumps.
