I had been eating a sandwich, set it down on the table to use the bathroom, and while I was in there (he didn't come with me for once) he had managed to pull it off of the table and shove half of it in his mouth. He had an allergic reaction right away, but it was pretty mild (redness around his mouth and possibly some itching). We confirmed the allergy with a blood test and scratch test. At Thanksgiving he had an exposure, and his reaction was much worse. :( We ended up giving him the epi-pen. The first couple of times he was fine, but then he started breaking out with a rash around his mouth the next couple of times..I stopped giving it to him because I was a nervous wreck. He was fine.
