We dropped him off on Friday afternoon and came back on Sunday morning. He regressed a lot, and it was so sad to come back to a different kid. It took about a week for him to return back to normal.</p> <p>Since then he stayed with my sisters for a week while DH and I went on our babymoon. LO was 26 months old and did really well. She was super attached to me before we left so I was so nervous, but my mom stayed with her at our place which made it easier for her. Also, my husband travels for work so she understands that he goes away for work and comes back. So I told her I had to go to work with Dada and I would be back in a few days. </p> <p>She did awesome and way better than I expected. I thought for sure she would be more clingy and attached when I got back but she's more independent...it's like she realized the world doesn't end when I'm not around. He did great. He already loved my parents, so he wasn't nervous a bit.
