It lasted about 40 minutes and we only read two books - most of the time was spent singing songs &amp; doing little activities. She LOVED it, even though the woman leading it was totally lame, haha. Then we took a long break and just started going regularly at 19.5 months. He loves it! My first I waited longer, but now that I've seen other people with babies there I don't think it was necessary to wait. I've been taking her since she was about 4 weeks old. Everyone just sits in a circle and the little babes just lie on floor and then in laps or sit up when they are older. We sing songs and rhymes and do tickles, dance and listen to stories. It's 30 mins long and LO has never fussed. Maybe he was around 6 or 7 months? He loved it. Most babies that age sit on your lap and enjoy it. Now with my toddler, he is a handful and doesn't want to sit still for most of the songs. I still take him every week because he loves it. I think it is great for all ages. I think that is a perfect time to introduce it. I'm wondering if it might be one of those things we should just wait to do when he's more of a toddler.</p> <p>Did any of you take your LOs to baby/lap sit story time? Did they enjoy it? </p>
