Never, I was in denial. I was ready for eviction at 37 weeks, but he didn't come for another 2 weeks. We never really had things ready until my water broke. I was expecting labor to take much longer than it did and figured the hospital was 10 minutes away.

I was constantly on baby watch after having pre term labor at 26 weeks. By 36 weeks we were truly ready (car seat installed, hospital bag packed and ready, etc).

We put the car seat in the car at 37 weeks because we went on our baby moon. I'm not concerned at 37 weeks but we do have bags packed bc DH is doing hospital rotations 3 hours away. I think next week I'll want to make sure DH is checking his phone every hour just in case!

When I was 39 weeks, I was 100% effaced and 2.5 cm dilated. I could barely walk and was incredibly more
Swollen than in past weeks. I knew he was coming soon! I took a Friday off work (exactly 40 days) ad went Ito labor that night!

About -4 weeks, and only because all of DH's nephews came at least a month early. I relaxed as soon as we got the car seat though...we didn't get it until 37 weeks and not having it was stressing me out. I didn't finish packing my bag until I was actually in labor.

I'm an odd one out on a few instances - I had DH drilled with his cell phone on loud early on, because he's terrible with it. I had bags packed (aside from things we used) by 37 weeks.

My labor actually was really quick and hectic, so I was similar to the tv shows, lol!

I was worried early on because I knew multiple people who had preterm labor and had to go to the hospital to stop it. I would say I got the hospital bag ready around 34-35 weeks but I started to watch out for labor around 30-32 weeks.

Hmmmm I don't think I did ever. I knew that things wouldn't be like you see on TV where "all of a sudden" you need to leave stat & family is rushing around to get you to the hospital so I just didn't worry about it. I knew that I'd likely be in early labor for awhile before even telling DH and we didn't want to let family know until I was well into active labor (if at all). I never packed a bag & DH installed the carseat before coming back to pick us up.... We were a homebirth that transferred so our plan was to stay home. Things were never crazy or panicked though so no biggie having not been "ready". We did have our homebirth stuff prepared about 38 weeks though.

The only "worry" I had was when I was 41+3, had been in prodromal labor for a day, and was scheduled for an oot u/s the next day to check on baby IF things didn't pick up. Thinking about possibly having to be transferred into an obgyn's care & take a long car ride with sporadic contractions stressed me out. Lol. Thankfully I was able to cancel the u/s appt! =)

I started getting ready for labor at about 38 weeks. And only because everyone kept asking if I was ready. Every time I answered "no" I would get lectured about early labors. I think I just packed my bag so I could say it was packed. :)

Lol I don't know how to phrase that better.

When did you start thinking that baby could come any day now? I had two coworkers deliver recently and they seemed to be concerned about going into labor more than 6 weeks before their due dates. They were talking about having their hospital bags in the car, husbands who never had their phones on silent, etc.

I think I'd start having DH keep his phone close by around 2 weeks before my due date, earlier if I was already dilating.

When did you start being on baby watch?
