DS turned 3 in March and it is bad now. But I'm starting a new job this month so we have to figure out our new insurance coverage (since I have IF) and I need to wait at least 3 months so I will be covered by FMLA. I'm hoping to be pregnant by the end of the year! One of my coworker friends was pregnant, and she just came in one day *glowing* and she looked so happy and gorgeous...and then in January she brought in her newborn, and I got to hold her, and suddenly I just desperately wanted another. In the abstract, I think I want another kid, but...eventually. Definitely not now. If we decide to have a second kid, we will probably start trying when DD is around 2.5, give or take a few months. Now at 11 months I am feelling about 75% one and done. Like, I look at a few cute baby hats and 10 minutes later I'm over it. I couldn't even think about it before then. We will start TTC this summer. A big part of this is that I hated being pregnant. It's a good thing, too, considering I was pregnant at 4 months PP so even though our second was a surprise I was secretly really excited about it. Now I'm 9 months + PP with our second and the baby fever is still pretty much nonexistent. I like the idea of another baby but not so much the thought of pregnancy. How long did you have it before you got pregnant again (or started trying)? LO is almost 9 months and I'm not ready, but I feel it creeping in. As he starts trying to walk (!!) and cruising / crawling everywhere, he feels less like a baby and more like a toddler. Luckily he has a 4:30 AM wake-up call lately, so that keeps me grounded.
