LO was not a roller until about 7months. So I didn't worry about it wrapping around his neck. Always the A&A swaddle blankets. He also has some wabbanubs and a small rubber ducky to chew on as he falls asleep. I know we are breaking all sorts of rules but ... sleep... Then within a couple of days walked in to find it wrapped around his face. DS started sleeping with them around 4 months. He needed something to occupy his hands and it helped him fall asleep. He was rolling both ways and usually sleeps with a thumb in his mouth anyway. Didn't start wth real blankets until after a year when she did get attached to the full size swaddle blankets. He is almost 4 months old, can roll both ways, sleeps beside our bed, and I feel like the A&A muslin swaddles are breathable even if he were to get it over his face. He got ahold of one by accident about 3 days ago and he has never been happier to go to bed!!! Did anyone give in and let their LO have a blanket to sleep with earlier than recommended?
