I took DS to church on his 1 week birthday (I had several people surprised to see us and everyone was very respectful of his "newness" and checked him out from a distance). Only an hour separate on time, lol), and the first time I think I went back at 2 weeks PP and kept him with me. The second time I think it was at least 3 or 4 weeks PP, but only because it was March and still very much winter and the flu and all kinds of other illness was making its rounds in our little town, so we wanted to avoid that, obviously. I felt good enough that I would have gone at 1 week PP if it hadn't been for the bugs. We kept the boys with us during the service. We weren't able to go today, but next weekend I think we're going to go and put them in the nursery. I really couldn't concentrate on the service because I was so nervous they'd start crying, even though they didn't. Also wanted to avoid all the colds going around...No nursery at our church (it's small) so she stays with us. We are fairly new to the church we are going to and I don't know the nursery workers yet ! </p>
