38 weeks, my midwife stripped my membranes to encourage things to get moving to avoid a c-section. My practice won't let you go to 40 weeks with a vbac.

My water broke three days before my due date. I was already scheduled to visit my OB for a membrane sweep, so she confirmed my water had broken at that appointment. I was admitted to L&D after I went home to pack my bags. They actually did a small, small dose of Pitocin to get my contractions started, and I had my daughter two days before my due date. My OB also wouldn't induce me, but was not opposed to Pitocin at very conservative amounts once my water broke on its own.

The day after my due date. Thankfully that happened and I didn't have to decide on whether or not to have a repeat c section.

Just curious. My OB says they will not induce me if I want to attempt a VBAC.
